This service is designed to help you as a student of University of Turku to 1. get to know your home city and university, 2. create and attend various events and 3. find places. All the content has been created by fellow students and is based on real recommendations rather than paid advertising.

The City section gives practical and cultural information on everyday life in Turku, including transportation, shopping and groceries, housing and other services, entertainment, health, safety, and religion. In addition, it gives the possibility to continue your hobbies or find new ones with the information and useful links on sports, outdoor activities, music, and crafts. Finally, the essence of quality city life is knowing the places that serve good food and drinks – we gathered the information on places that serve student lunches, cafes, restaurants, as well as bars and nightclubs for you to enjoy the city in its fullest. You can also find your favorite places on the map and save them to the list of places.

The Study section gives the information needed to start your studies at the University of Turku, as well as useful links to the University services.

The Events section gives you a possibility to see and create events visible for other students. Events can be sorted by interests and time, and the locations of the events can be found on the map. Explore all the functions, organize parties, game-nights or weekend-trips, and dare to participate and get to know your fellow students from different faculties! Remember, that meeting people with different backgrounds is what makes university life unforgettable.

The Map section utilizes Google maps to fit your needs: when you are lost in the city, or when you need to find certain places near you, such as a pizzeria or a post office, or look up the address of your friend. In addition to finding these places and leading you to them, you can add these addresses to your list of places, visible on the button in the upper right corner, by tapping on the location marker.
